Choose half-mask or full face protection and interchange the cartridges. Half-mask and Full-face are made of soft, comfortable silicone and are available in many sizes. Full face features a six point suspension, nose cup and a speaking diaphram. Half-mask has a 4-point suspension and a large inlet and outlets for better breathing resistance. |

| North 7700 series 1/2 mask APR is made from soft silicone for added comfort. Extended side flange provide better sealing during talking or other facial movements and the unique design reduces "dead air space" which limits "re-breathing" of exhaled air. Available in small, medium or large. 7600 series full face APR is made of pure, soft silicone and features a 5-strap head harness for excellent fit and comfort. Wrap around lens provides 200 degree field of vision. Cartridges are interchangeable with 7700 1/2 mask. |

The proper selection of a respirator, based on 42CFR84, depends on the presence of oil in the atmospere.
N-Filter is not resistant to oil. R-Filter is resistant (for 8-hour shift). P-Filter is oil proof.
The efficiency of a respirator is indicated by a numerical rating.
95 = 95% Efficient
99 = 99% Efficient
100 = 99.7% Efficient (100%). |
